How to connect

Smart Planner AI uses OAuth 2.0. You sign in to your Smart Planner AI account and approve the scopes requested by the client.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT Apps or the custom MCP app setup.
  2. 2Enter the MCP server URL: https://mcp.smartpln.com/mcp.
  3. 3Choose OAuth and continue with the discovered settings.
  4. 4Sign in with Smart Planner AI and approve the requested permissions.

Claude

  1. 1Open Claude connector settings and add a custom connector.
  2. 2Enter the remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.smartpln.com/mcp.
  3. 3Use OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration or client metadata discovery.
  4. 4Sign in with Smart Planner AI, then enable the connector in the chat.

Data handling

The connector is designed to expose only the planner actions the user asks the client to perform.

The server accesses planner data only when the connected user requests a tool call.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS between the MCP client, MCP server, and Smart Planner AI API.
OAuth scopes limit what a connected client can read or change.
Users can disconnect the app or revoke access from the connected client at any time.
